From this distance it does appear to be sterling silver from England. Can you add a close up of the hallmarks??? This could be a wonderful piece!
Now I see the other pictures sorry! Give me a few to do some research!!!

I cannot make out the city mark. Can you give us a description of the third mark from the right. To the left of the lion there. Is it a tree? A castle or a crown?
Or perhaps an anchor?

lets make sure I am right with your updated pictures. We are not really supposed to talk prices on CW. But yes, depending on its weight it will have value in silver. But I am sure this will be more valuable as a collector's item.
