I picked up a box of about 20 movie stills few months back and put them aside until I had time to research more - I got them out today and was looking through a couple and recognized that this one is pretty unique, I'm almost embarassed to say that I didn't know who Clarence Sinclair Bull was, but now I do...Here's a little history on Lionel Barrymore. The only thing I'm curious about with this is the type of photograph/process that it is called. I could probably research on my own, but here I have a chance to show off just a little :) and get some great info from great people...
~Lionel Barrymore (April 28, 1878 – November 15, 1954) was an American actor of stage, screen and radio. He won an Academy Award for Best Actor for his performance in A Free Soul (1931), and remains perhaps best known for the role of the villainous Henry Potter character in Frank Capra's 1946 film It's a Wonderful Life. He was also a member of the illustrious theatrical Barrymore family.
Fascinating.....

Press releases for the actors done by Metro-Golden Meyer, these year they helped the actors because they the actors worked for the company, now the actors usually only work for 1 movie. There is a ton of these prints from actors, i used to shoot some actors and make 8/10s B/W in the 1990s.
