90's Ted Lapidus wristwatch.

Hi all,
A lady I know gave me this watch as her partner was throwing it out because it runs a bit late. It's a Ted Lapidus, a company I've never heard of. Have you? All in all, it's a neat watch, possibly from the 90's, but I do not intend on wearing it. Thanks and enjoy!
