I reckon you are both right about the identity of :
      J.Th.S. • Jørgen Th. Steffensen - Randers 1972 - 1976
      http://www.925-1000.com/denmarkJ.html
His father was J. P. Steffensen. In 1919 J. P. Steffensen took over the firm of Hans Jensen & Co.. a wholesale gold and silver business in Århus that supplied Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway.
      J. P. Steffensen had two sons Knud Th. Steffensen (b. 1908) & Jørgen Th. Steffensen (b. 1910). After his death in 1949 his widow took over and the two sons became managers in the company. In 1934 the family bought out a manufacturing business in Randers not far from Århus that specialised in modern manufacturing methods for silver and silverplate jewelry.
