A Swiss blogger name Adwoa creates “typecasts,” which are blog posts typed on a typewriter, then scanned and posted online. The photos that accompany these posts are of typewriters seen in her travels, such as an AZERTY Everest K2, a pink Barbie model, or a Hermes Baby with Hebrew keys. You can also browse the site by typewriter model, but it’s more fun to enjoy the serendipity of the typecasts, like the one on “keychoppers” (people who destroy perfectly good typewriters for their keys, which are used in jewelry), which was written on St. Patrick’s Day of 2010, using a green ribbon, of course.
