    Hi,

I just bought this cutie at an estate in Jersey.
Looks like it's made from paper mache and twisted paper legs on a cardboard base.
Lady I bought it from told me it was a baby shower stork from the 40's.

Can anyone tell me how old it is and what it was for?
    Thanks!

    Nessa

I agree with the lady it would most likely appear on top of a cake at a baby shower or in a center piece . I can't tell what it is made of by photo so hard to date . I have one posted similair and it is from 40'-1960's . Very neat I love it .
