Red and black mini plate or pan

I found this cute little pan or plate for my son. He loves red and black and it made the perfect addition to his room to hold his glasses, etc. There are no markings on it and I have no idea of the history of the plate/pan. The quarter is there for scale. Any info on this would be appreciated!
