This chair just seemed to say, "Herman Miller" to me. I was able to get it for a roll of nickels so it was a great deal. Too bad there was only one. It is a little nicked up so I may have it reupholstered and the wood touched up.

It has a nice wide seat, which I love, and is quite comfortable. It is fully functional and still swivels very nicely. I am using it with our "new" computer desk/antique singer sewing machine.

    What do you think?

It looks like a Thonet chair to me.

Thank you so much. I think you are correct. It does look like a Thonet. I feel even better about my $5 find now! I'll be looking for more of these!
