A 1957 Sharon Steel Corporation advertisement from a magazine. Sharon Steel was founded in Sharon, Pennsylvania. Sharon, PA was great for the steel industry because of the great coal deposits in the area along the banks of the Shenango River. As you can see in the advertisement coal was important or they wouldn't put it in the advertisement.
