How tall is he ? I really need a close up of face . I have to see detail better on stitching ,eyes ,and nose to ID and and date him , Can you try for a closer clear photo :-) I can't even see if it is mohair or synthetic material he is made of . Glad to help but would be a wild guess without better photo. Does he have wear to him on fur?
