Some sort of Dress Clip

Found these 2 in an Estate Sale. Look like brass (?), not very heavy. I think they may be old dress clips, but not sure. Would love it if any one could tell me what they are. They are approx 2 inches high and approx 1.5 inches wide. Thanks!
