Antique Victorian?

Looking to confirm that this is an authentic Victorian era chair.
I have been told by the owner it is a family heirloom and was purchased by her grandmother in the early 20th century. It was reupholstered in the 50's to its current look. It is in excellent condition, no scratches, breaks, or nicks. It measures 24" wide, 31" deep (overall depth, not just seat depth), 36.5" tall.
