I bought this ring at a pawn shop in my home town to replace a ring that was stolen from me. It never leaves my finger if I can help it. I would like to learn more about it. It's stamped 925 and has oxidized correctly to be silver. It is also stamped India, so I suspect the stone is not a stone at all but rather ivory. I can tell it is old- there is still a little bit of gold plate around the cabochon and it is too heavy to have been made recently. I'm just hoping to get a little more information about the flower carvings and stuff. :) thanks for looking! I couldn't get a clean picture of the stamp on the inside, but it says 925 ·> India

It does have lines through it. Like a fingerprint. I'm really not that interested in the stone. I want to know the significance of the s.flower
