Dear Antique Experts,
I would love to know if you have a contact on an antique glass lamp shade painter? If not could you point me in a direction of who to contact to find out? I know they need to be able to paint the glass then fire it in a kiln. I am having an awful time locating someone with this skill. I have a "Gone with the Wind" double glass lamp with a broken glass base that I can get the parts for but then need someone to paint it to match. Can you help me?

depending on where you are located there may be a local firm to do repairs. I know a company close to me near Nashville that does repairs like this, and works on paintings, glass, ceramics, porcelains, etc. These types of repairs can be quite expensive tho' and may exceed the value of the lamp.
