      You're quite right- Furmin&Sons Ld. I will contact company thru your link. Thanks for info. Still curious to know where/when they were used- maybe Furmin can tell me....

      Just received this reply from another source:
      Hi, they are Victorian as they have the crown, as they have thistles could well be Northern Eastern Railway, but as they have the crown could be Guard or Railway police with powers of arrest. hope this helps
