Here is a painting I got at a flea market in Quebec. Their is no signature that I can see but it seams to be very old as the tag on the back dates the patten of the canvas at 1879. The tag reads Russell's Canvas Board. It measures 14" x 10". It's a beautiful painting and curious as to the origins.
