    This was my mom's China cabinet, but I don't know anything about it. Can anyone help identify it or guesstimate how old it is?

      Did someone paint the front ? It looks like it as back looks older than front .

      You know, it's a good possibility, but I'm not sure. And the shiny brass hardware doesn't look original to the piece, at least to me, so it could have been. But there is no paint residue on the glass at all.

      I want to say circa 1930's, but it is a guess on my part based on my experience with that style--nice cabinet. I agree with mani, looks painted :)

      It is very close in design to one that I have, & I date mine to the 30's.
      It makes an excellent cabinet to display in with so much open glass.
