I have been trying to price this poster and have not had any luck in finding anything remotely close to it! I don't even remember how I obtained it! I used to go to the show as a kid but don't remember getting the poster.
It is 4'x6' poster from the National Horse Show at Madison Square Garden 1980. There is no information regarding any printing company on the poster or in the border. The border itself has some pin holes in it as I hung the poster in my room as a kid with thumbtacks. Other than that and some minor tears in the border in a couple of spots, the poster is in excellent condition. My mother wiped a piece of dust off of it and some of the gold ink came off on the dry paper towel - not sure if that says anything about how it was printed but I thought I should mention it. The artist is Sam Savitt.
Any suggestions would be really appreciated!!
