    I think this is a "Miners Heater" it reads Sam S. Utter NO. 10 New York. Are these rare does it have any value.
    I want to thank everyone for all your help. I have had so much fun picking this last year, it seems like everyday I learn something new and have even scratched the surface. So thanks everyone for your patience and sharing your wisdon. I am sure we all appreciate it.

      Hello, check out - http://www.antiquesnavigator.com/old-stoves-price-guide/antique-stoves-price-guide-31.html - They have prices realized for this type of camp stove as well as the larger home models. We have three different camp stoves, and use them to display sadirons.

      Thanks LaurenR this one was found at an old mine site with some other equipment. That's why the person I got it from thought it was a miners stove. I am still learning, others have been helping and it turns out it was originally meant as a heater for Sad or Flat Irons. I guess this miner had a better idea. :)
