This is an old Block and Tackle made from wood and metal. I would guess it's probably 100 years old. It is in original shape. Would like for someone who knows the value of this type of item to help me put a price on it.
From the photo it appears it is a double on the bottom so I am assuming the top one is a triple? How large are the pulleys from the bottom of the hook to the top of the pulley? I purchased one last year similar to the looks of yours. If you are interested in selling this one let me know.
i found a 10" block today that is cast iron and a bit beat up. still spins and the date reads april 17, 1882. i am wondering where i could find a way to tell what and where it came from.
