Fireplace chairs?

We were given these chairs by a friend. He said his parents got them as a wedding gift. They are called fireside chairs. One has a sloping arm to the left and the other has a sloping arm to the rightSupposed to be circa 1930's. Has anyone seen something similar? Sorry about the upside down picture. Can't seem to fix it.
