My Vintage Gucci black leather bag, my favorite.
I bought it at a Cancer Research charity store in Newton ,MA, when a dear friend was dying of cancer, so it is very special to me.
Any details appreciated- name of design, age, value. Tku MW

Your bag should have a cartouche inside with serial numbers etc. making it pretty easy to identify. Also what year is it from ?

Gee whiz, thanks, I have had the bag for 14/15 years and I never knew it had a serial number (or a cartouche - had to look that one up).
The serial number is 0013122 with another number underneath that 002046.
What does that mean? if anyone knows. Tku.

Thehehe you are too cute! Can you post a cleqar pic of the numbers together? I might be able to tell you at first glance if it is worth researching. Fakes can be spotted be certain things just from the numbers. A pic in sunlight would best :)
