      erush Montez 1874-1958 was a young man when he entered the studio of decorative arts and there he learned quickly to draw decorative murals. His teacher however encouraged the young Montez to study the theories of Impressionism and he was later to abandon his work as a collage artist to concentrate on painting landscapes applying the ideals of the pleinairists. Montez has been widly reconized for his talent as a landscape painter working with oils and watercolors to bring these masterful visions to life. He has been a featured artist with several exhibitions both in the US and Europe
