tell me about these chairs please.

I got these 4 dining chairs for $100 from a man who said they were reproductions. He kept the 2 matching armchairs. They are oak or walnut. I would like to have some idea of era, worth and anything else anyone cares to share. I'm planning to have them recovered but would like to know more about what I own!
