    I'm interested in finding out any info on this piece, it's origin etc...??

    I had acquired it as a gift from a friend some 30 years ago. He lived in Indianapolis.

    Stands 4" tall
    The Figure and the base are 2 separate pieces.

      For sure it is ivory, and for sure a sitting Buddha.
      I can only suspect it is asian made, but can't tell if it is Chinese or Burma or Thailand...
