In about 1980, we got a ping pong table. My dad used this clown box to keep the balls and paddles. I found it a couple of years ago and recently brought it home. I asked him about it and all he knew is that his grandma had it in her house when he was a child. He grew up about 40 miles west of minneapolis. All I could find is that this company incorporated in 1936 and disolved in 1991. Any Minneapolis or advertising collectors have better contacts for more info? With "The Nut Man" and "5 cents a bag" I assumed it is for roasted nuts, but it really could be anything small enough to fit in a small bag. Thanks.
