Are there any markings on it? The pin looks to be steel.
No markings but acid tests for silver?
Looks to be 1930s or 1940s, as it has a C clasp closure.
I love those figural brooches!
End of Victorian era or Edwardian anyway beginning of 20th from the hinge shape :-)
