I know zero about vintage dolls so I'd appreciate as much information as I can get.I can tell you that she is 14" long, has plastic-like or composition head, arms and legs, and a soft body. She's wearing a blue suit, white hat with blue brim that reads "U.S.Navy" .Her arms and legs can move.IMO,she's in great condition and I was told that she's from the 40's and rare in this clothing.I don't see any markings, names, numbers, etc.,but I haven't removed any clothing apart from adjusting her hat around, which is held on with a staple. Thanks in advance,Patti

She is made of composition in 1940's these dolls dressed in service uniforms were quite popular during WWII. Many companies made them . It would be hard to tell exactly which made her unless she is marked . On back of neck or on middle of her back . I would not call her rare but many collectors do collect the military dolls and girls were made less than boys or men and women . She is in beautiful condition .

Effanbee co made Skippy's hat with same label sewn on it so perhaps they are maker as her face is good quality meaning most likely a known larger company made her .
