    Looks like silk face.
    Height is 15"
    Would welcome any background information.
    My dad shipped me a package containing a bird house he built for me and it was included. I had never seen it before. Not sure where he got it. Probably WWII ish

      These dolls were made for export and were popular gifts send home by soldiers. Made in Japan and Korea .

      oops not Korea . These were tourist dolls not toys most likely a Nishi Geisha 1950's 70's.
