Need help identifying year and model of this Schwinn bike

Found this Schwinn bike at an estate sale. Can anyone tell me the approximate year and model name of this bike? I have researched on the Schwinn bicycle webpage but have had no luck. It resembles the American model but it has less bars on the frame.
