    Top of Adlake bale to spark more discovery. Quite possible to have been used for the 'Iron Range' of northern Minnesota in its pioneering days.

      Hi, I realized that I left the word "handle" out of my response and couldn't fix it. The lantern "handle" is called a bale. As for markings, they would usually be somewhere on the wide rim.
