Seth Thomas MCM Clock

This is a Seth Thomas clock that was made in Germany with 'Elomatic' ('Clomatic') written on the face above the 6. The movement that was originally a C cell battery has been converted to a double A and runs very quietly. What makes this clock cool is the appearance: The face is 9 inches square with a heavy brass border. It has a nice simplistic MCM look to it and can be seen anywhere in the room. Can anyone explain if Elomatic or Clomatic is the correct word to use when describing the clock. Thank you.
