My Japanese friend translated the writing on the right as saying "The Beautiful Lady of Kyoto" but she could not translate or identify the artists name which she said is on the left. I bought her 10 years ago for $100 simply because she is awesome. I would love to know who the artist is so I can gather information on her age and value. I was shocked to see prices ranging from $300-$2500 for dolls close to what she looks like. I know she is an Ichimatsu but that is all I know. Does anyone have information to share with me?
