I have this ancient composite doll and cannot find reference to it anywhere. Looks like Armand Marseille face. Has fully jointed legs and arms. 10" tall.
Can anyone help me identify it please? Liz

Can you edit your post and add a photo of the doll without clothes? It will make identification easier. Thanks. There is an EDIT option on the left side of your page.

Unfortunately the clothes are sewn on. However i have since posting this decided that maybe it says Dep which makes more sense. I still cant find a doll with this skin colour.

Dark skinned dolls were made by many companies . DEP means nothing in identifying a doll just means it is registred . The name of maker or mold number is above it partly under her hair . Unis France did dolls like her 1920-30's . But hard to tell who made her without seeing their logo or mold number

Thanks for your help. Well it looks like it could say 277 Dep which looks very much like another doll I've seen now. It's intriguing, I'm having lots of fun just researching.
