I recently purchased this dresser and am hoping to learn more about it. It was made by Bassett Furniture, but I am having trouble dating it. The logo is located in the left-hand side of the top drawer. The bottom drawer has a perpendicular separation. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
So, I answered my own mystery! While working on refinishing this piece, I realized that "Monticello" was printed on the back. I looked it up online, and found an advertisement in LIFE Magazine dated November 24, 1958 for the Monticello line of furniture by Bassett. The ad even references the decal in the drawer.
