My husband and I purchased this antique iron bed from a couple in Pennsylvania. We stripped off several layers of paint, and the detail underneath is gorgeous! At the ends of the side rails it says "Boston" with what looks like maybe a G or C in the corners. The internet hasn't turned up anything so far, and I would love to know more about the history of the bed. We love this piece and know it will be a part of our family for a long time.

We found one almost like yours up in the rafters of our garage/shop building. It belonged to my husbands grandmother, my husband will soon be 80. We think it might be late 1800 or early 1900.
