Does anyone know the history of this doll? Found it in my mother's belongings after she passed away.

A Mass produced doll in 1980s-90's . I hope you have her clothes or her value is very low . These porcelain dolls made to look like antique bisque dolls were popular when antique doll prices were high and most collectors couldn't buy the so bought these porcelain dolls which were sold on Home shopping TV and magazines . The market that bought these dolls was actually 50 yrs and older . Often found in Grandmother's house but Grandma bought it when she was maybe 60 . Here is a example as market is flooded with these types of dolls . https://www.ebay.com/itm/Betty-Jane-Carter-Dolls-Elegant-Ladies-Series-Mary-Sleigh-Ride/273309724943?_trkparms=aid%3D555018%26algo%3DPL.SIM%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D52861%26meid%3Dccf0e45d2db641f8bf14ba053cbe7fe5%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D222865169392%26itm%3D273309724943&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851

I do not have her clothes. I found it when cleaning out my mother's apartment. Thanks for your comments.

Your welcome :-) Often people buy these dolls at a thrift shop for a few dollars but but them for their clothes . Maybe your mother used her clothes on another doll :-)
