I don't know what the handles are made of My guess is brass or gold but not sure. I didn't know if anyone knows how old this item is and maybe what it was used for? the bowl itself if Aluminum. That is about all I know about it. The braided pic is of the bottom where it sits on a table. Any knowledge I would appreiciate Also if anyone knows what something like this would go for now days.
