Just found this a few weeks ago in a Antique store, It's a perfume can that I would take that in WW2 soldiers would buy them for their loved ones. Not sure why a lady would want a Jerrycan. You can still smell the perfume and it is marked My Jerrycan Marc Fael Paris.
