    Does anyone know what this doll is. It was on my great grandmothers bed that i can remember about 1960. I know it is older than that but cannot find her anywhere. netpenn@msn

      Hi you need a much clearer photo of face painting . By photo she looks to be made in a doll making class . They were making these in ceramic doll making class way back to 1950's . Does the doll have any crackling or crazing to glaze ? Please provide a close up of face ok . She is what is called a high brow china but again because the photo is not clear I can't tell but leaning toward a being made by a hobbyist .

      Hi Manikin, thank you for the information. I will get it out and take more pictures. This was on my great grandma's bed when i was little (around 1960) she had had it for quite a while.
