This was my mother's Uncles desk, Leo Monroe.
inside the bottom doors it says "Patent Pending" behind rt door
behind the left door it says Model# 1600
and in the bottom on the door frame it says A16038

Any help in identifying the maker or date of this desk would be helpful.

I have this same cabinet in the spare bedroom. Tomorrow I will look for the labels that I know are till there. Its actually a radio cabinet!

found it! Its a Pooley. they made cabinets for people to put their radios in and to use as they wanted. Some people made desks, some made liquor cabinets. Mine still has the speaker screens in it! Isnt this a cool cabinet? I love mine.
