This is a factory made bird. It could be a Mason. The rings on the body and head tell that it was made on a duplicating lathe machine. These machines were used by Mason to carve decoys in Michigan. Later the company sold to Victor or Animal Trap company. The Mason birds are more collectable. I suggest that yout ake it to an expert to have it evaluated. The rough birds like this are not as valuable as the smooth variety.
