I am tring to find out what year this was created and what this is called.
I have used it as a night stand for over 32 years now.
I have taken very good care of this piece inside & out with Lemon Pledge. I have never placed a cup or glass inside the cabinet all that has been in there since I had it is notebook paper or note pads.

This is a smoking cabinet. I would date it 1930-1940's. The doors hold pipes. The swing out tray where there are circles hold ash trays. The compartment behind that held tins or cigarettes, matches, pipe cleaners etc... The below held tins of pipe tobacco and cigar boxes. Smoking was considered elegant then. Since it is now out of vouge these only sell for about $40 - $60.
