The adorable cover of issue 76 of "Le Journal de Babicinel" (1993), the official magazines of the series. Originally titled "Le Journal de Cococinel" during the first season, they changed to "Le Journal de Babicinel" in the second season due to Babicinel's increased prominence.
One day in Cocoland, Babicinel's magical heart activates the transformation for the first time in an unexpected moment. Babicinel was heading home after Madame Cigale's class when she saw her friend Cocofleur walking away. She ran to greet her and chat, but suddenly, her heart activated the pink magical transformation without her realizing it. When she greeted Cocofleur, now transformed into pink, Cocofleur didn't recognize her and asked, "Who are you?"
Confused, Babicinel responded, "What do you mean, Cocofleur? It's me, your friend Babicinel!" The clever Cocofleur, noticing Babicinel's manner of speaking and accessories, realized it was her friend. Surprised, she told Babicinel that she had completely changed color and suggested she look at her reflection in the Cocoland pond. Seeing herself, Babicinel was shocked and terrified, not understanding what was happeningAt that moment, Cocometeo, Babicinel's crush, arrived. Embarrassed, Babicinel hid behind a tree. After he left, she rushed to the clover house to ask her sister Cococinel for help. Cococinel was a bit surprised, while Babicinel, very nervous, couldn't return to her usual blue color. The more nervous Babicinel became, the brighter her pink color shone. Cococinel suggested she calm down and eat a freshly baked Cocobun with chocolate. Upon eating it, Babicinel returned to normal, but this didn’t last long as the transformation kept appearing and disappearing. Desperate, Cococinel and Babicinel tried everything to calm the magical heart, but it continued to transform and revert back constantly.Finally, out of frustration, Babicinel exclaimed, "OH DEAR, IF ONLY IT WERE AS EASY AS SAYING 'TRANSFORMATION OFF'!" Upon saying this, the transformation stopped, and the magical heart floated up towards Babicinel's face, emitting various sounds. Babicinel, the only one who could understand it, said, "Oh, magical heart, don't laugh at me! You are so naughty! It was all a joke! So with this new transformation, I can be more agile and powerful and have all your powers within me? Wow, that's amazing."
