Hi, This is a great site. Much information here. I have come across this pair of all metal miniture stove and freezer. They are 7.5" high by 5.5" wide and deep. They are very detailed. The name printed on them is Arthur Martin (I have done some research and found this is a French company) If any one out there has any additional information on these pieces I would appreciate hearing from you. I am not sure if these are salseman samples , Display pieces or just very detailed Toys. I can be reaced at gemwmd.gemwmd@verizon.net Thanks , Bill

      Hello,
My best guess would be that they are salesman samples. I watched a new show called "Pickers" last night. It is about two gentleman that buy up collectibles for resale. One of the people they were trying to buy collectibles from was a gentleman who had a wringer type washing machine from the 1920's that was approx. the same size, very detailed, and had a company marking on the bottom just like yours. He explained that items such as these were brought to the prospective buyer's home to show the off the product they were trying to sell. It was also stated that they were very detailed because this was the best means of ultimately showing the actual product and its capabilities to the customer in those days. The "Pickers" gentleman said they would be worth approx $350 apiece if authentic and were sought after by certain collectors. I am not an expert on these things but that would be my best guess, they definitely fit the example that I have seen. Hope this helps!

They're way to detailed to be toys, or even dollhouse furniture. They're probably salesmen samples. I Have no idea on value.
