    After the Civil War, a cowboy who's a former Union soldier leads a cattle drive into
    Mexico--now occupied by the French, who are battling Mexican revolutionaries led by Benito
    Juarez--in exchange for 50 prisoners being held by a former Confederate officer, who once
    double-crossed him.
