Have had this pitcher for probably 15 years, and it is one of my favorite pieces! It is HUGE! Stands 10" high and at it's around 8.5-9" across and, if I remember right, holds 2 gallons?? No markings on it.
Purchased it from a great elderly couple who knew their antiques and traveled the midwest in their heyday, setting up at flea-markets and buying what they liked.
Still have the two tags that were attached to the pitcher when I purchased it. One, the price. The other states "Bennington Old Man of the Mountain".
Has a few "bites" on it, but no cracks, and....it's still standing!!
