    I recently bought this Merry Thought Bear Clothes Stand but am struggling to find any information about these types of Merrythought Bears on the internet.

      Here is link to read about them. They are still making Teddy bears today . have been in business since about the 1930's
      Cute clothes stand . I would think it was for a child's room to inspire them to hang up clothes :-)
