I have a Dorothy Thorpe gold band punchbowl with matching round tray, extra bowl and 12 roly poly mad men glasses in excellent condition.
A friend gave it to me, and I'd love to know it's value. I will upload a photo when I get one. I think I have a rare find!
    Cheers,

I collect a lot of the Dorothy Thorpe Silver Band glassware. In that design, the punchbowl is the most valuable item -- it sells for $280 on Replacements.com. And, authentic Silver Band roly polies are pretty much the "holy grail" for (They're very popular now, due to their use on the very popular, award-winning AMC show "Mad Men." One is even featured on the Season 3 DVD series cover.) Those go for a very pretty penny -- at least $20 apiece -- to collectors. While I don't collect the gold band items myself, they typically sell for a bit more than Thorpe's Silver Band items, so you've got an amazing find here. Great friend you have there! :o)
