Got this beautiful bear last weekend. Was told it was from the 20s or 30s, but it looks to be in waaaay too good of condition for that to be true. It looks handmade to me, and there's no tag, so there might not be anything to know, but the green really charmed me. I've been obsessively scouring the net since and can't find a single thing that even looks somewhat similar. I'm not a collector, just couldn't pass up this bear.

    Anybody here have any clues?

looks like maybe the 50's by material for sure not 20's and looks factory made . maybe a carnaival prize ? just a guess

That's probably a good guess. Couldn't imagine it was as old as the 20s. I thought it was likely a reproduction because the material is so clean, but I guess it could have been on this lady's shelf since it was made. The buttons are plastic I think. Or some kind of laminated wood? They're layered, and where there's wear, their color color lightens. Sounds like plastic when I tap my finger on it, which is why I thought it was a reproduction. The only hairy parts are the ears and paws. Thanks for your input. Was completely unable to find anything that looked like it at all.
